The 1-week IPexpert Routing & Switching Lab Experience is a boot camp course solely dedicated to hands-on lab training. This instructor-led program allows CCIE candidates to gain more confidence before their lab exam date arrives by providing rack time for hands-on training. It is also a thorough pre-lab exam refresher.

The lab experience program does not plan for instructor lectures. As mentioned, it solely focuses on vRack lab training with an instructor available for assistance when needed. IPexpert Instructors conduct this boot camp in a very proctor-like manner, similar to actual proctors. They will not provide answers or identify specific errors; if necessary they will gently hint the student toward a line of thinking that will ultimately lead to the solution. The goal is for each student to leave the IPexpert Lab Experience understanding how and why they arrived at each solution.

The R&S Lab Experience Boot Camp schedules a 1-day mock exam for each of the first four days, each one progressively more difficult. The fifth day is reserved for questions and review of all the configurations and solutions. Each student is assigned a dedicated vRack pod to access throughout the course. The mock labs provided are designed to challenge the students to a maximum level, especially since many students take this course as a refresher right before their lab…even if they have already attended another boot camp previously.
